Just announced - Chromebooks dropped to the sub-$200 price point.
Some of the differences: $50 cheaper, a 320 gb HDD instead of a 16 gb SSD, a VGA port, only 3.5 hours of battery life.
Courtesy of Lifehacker, thought Sallie and her boys might be interested in this one. Could probably find some "educational" games to play on here as well... maybe not :).
Called a "personal internet desktop", Symbaloo is a way to graphically show your bookmarks. Del.icio.us bookmarks can be linked with this service - I see a lot of good uses, especially for lower grades if this were set as the home page of an Internet browser.
Explore collections from around the world with thousands of artworks photographed in extremely high resolution. Also enables to create and share own collections of masterpieces.
I use these symbolic links to automatically sync various web services together. For example, with these links in place, I can edit a file in my Dropbox, and then have the updated file automatically uploaded to Box, Skydrive, and Google Drive. I can also use the online editing tools for anything in my skydrive... and you get the usefulness of this.
