LastPass has 90 days to fix the potential exploit before ProjectZero releases the exploit to the public. The Mac Geek Gab Podcast recommends switching password managers if LastPass has not "patched the hole" in half the time (May 1). I personally have LP on all my devices, having paid money for the mobile version. 1Password seems to have a stronger reputation from the podcasts and bloggers I follow, but the desktop app was much more expensive than LastPass. Perhaps I'm getting what I've paid for. :(

Thanks for the alert on this Tom! I saw in the Lifehacker post that Sam's Club has the same price so I snagged a copy from there since I have a membership there and not at Costco. I've been wanting to get this and up my photo editing skills a bit. Plus I found two Lynda.com courses about it, so I'm off to 7 hours of video class!

One caution with this link. One of the apps mentioned "Four Spiritual Laws" does not reflect our theology, and can't be recommended as a tool to share our faith. Perhaps this could serve as an encouragement to develop an app that does share our faith and accurately reflects our theology.

Take a look at PicKATime for conference scheduling. Ours is up right now so you could look at it on our site - emanuelnl.org/school Works great and parents love it; not free through. $50 a conference. We think it is worth it. The secretary sets it all up and teachers have access and see their own scheduled conference times. I find youcanbook me works well for teachers setting up individual conference tmes with me for purposes of their tech growth planning throughout the year.

This is a great site to get your kids involved in some inquiry base projects involved collaboration - 21st century skills and ISTE standards. You do not have to do the legwork as it has been done for you. Just sign up and participate and expand your kids' world view!

Online sticky notes - not quite as powerful as Diigo, but worth checking out!

Nice to know and have the option. I probably fall into the category of someone who would accidentally do this and then not be able to figure out how to get the margins back. :-)
