This is referring to Apps for business, Ryan. I certainly hope the Google Apps for Education will continue to be free now that many educators and schools are depending on them. If not, there will be some dramatic changes that need to be made.
There was a free version that would allow you to have up to 10 users. This version has been eliminated for new users. I am making use of this version since my school is not accredited, which is a requirement to use Apps for Education.
April 3 to 9 Olive Tree is giving away a Free e-copy of the ESV Bible which is one of the translations being considered for adoption by the WELS. Olive Tree's Bible Reader is my choice for lowest cost, richest features of available cross platform digital Bible Study tools. Nice paralleling of multiple translations along side original and nonenglish language editions (Greek, Hebrew, Latin, etc.). Large library of Bibles and commentaries to chose from. Better prices and far less blotted than Logos.
YouVersion is offering its NIV2011 for a free download so you can read offline if no network connection is available. They do this periodically, so get it while it is offered - free.
Almost any device can use this app.
Our freetechnologyforteachers blogger Richard Byrne has developed an excellent guide for some of the less well-used features of Google's apps suite (or should I say, "sweet" ;)
Excellent free typing tutorials website. Accounts are optional, but allow you to track your progress and join a class so teachers can track progress as well. Did I mention that it's free?
A FinalWeb customer recommends this site as alternative to Google Cal because it doesn't truncate the printed version ...
I thought you might like to know about a FREE NON-Google calendar that has word wrap, is easy and will import a google calendar.
