Oxandrolone is also known as Oxandrin. It is an anabolic steroid, which was first synthesized by Raphael Pappo under the trademark Anavar in United States in 1964. The drug is used for promoting muscle regrowth in disorders, which causes weight loss and is also used as a part of treatment for HIV/AIDS.
