Pelvic inflammatory disease is an infection in the upper part of female's reproductive system namely fallopian tubes , ovaries, uterus. Symptoms of PID are fever, burning while urinating ,bleeding between the periods ,pain during sex and pain in lower abdomen ,irregular menstruation.IF not treated can result in long term complications like infertility,chronic pelvic pain.
