    • Maintain a sleep log. Note down the hours of sleep, perceived quality of sleep, your level of energy before and after the sleep, etc. A proper sleep log for a period of time will help you analyze the problem and take necessary actions to correct it.

  • Make sure you go to sleep at a fixed time every day. Once you practice sleeping at a particular time, it becomes a habit over a period of time, and you get proper sleep.

  • Avoid any food at least 3 hours before you sleep. It cause acid reflux and creates a burning sensation in your esophagus and prevents you from getting a proper sleep.

  • Stop using any electronic gadgets at least an hour before you sleep. The light from your mobile or laptop can get you activated, preventing you from falling asleep. Try to read a book instead, just before you go to sleep.
