A Composer is a tool that is used to administer the essentials for PHP. It assists its users to specify the PHP libraries for the essentials of the project. Here we are with tutorial blog on How to Install and Use Composer on Ubuntu 20.04.

There are about a dozen other plugins out there that do this already, except most seem to come with an enormous footprint: 10-12k of code, X-number of images, and roughly 1000 options to support every plausible use case. For other minimalists like myself out there, here's one built off the jQuery UI widget factory in approx. 100 lines of code and 100% CSS. In typical widget fashion, this implementation supports the most basic (and arguably most common) uses, but is flexible enough for more advanced cases.

So I've spent the last couple of weeks tweaking my web server stack. I like my site to pop, and I've finally achieved a configuration that I'm somewhat happy with. In sum, I'm running Varnish as a front-end to Nginx which is running WordPress loaded with the W3-Total-Cache plugin. The W3-Total-Cache plugin is configured to use both memcached as well as Amazon S3 as its CDN. All of this sits on Ubuntu Linux with Linode as my host.
