Being Introduced Incorrectly at Work: How to Address It?

As an in-house attorney at a tech company with a small legal team, I've noticed a recurring issue. Despite being with the company the longest, I'm also the least experienced lawyer on the team. A colleague from another department keeps introducing me to external parties via email as a paralegal, not an attorney. While I initially ignored it, the repeated mistakes are becoming bothersome.

I'm considering sending a clarifying email, but I don't want to come across as rude. Is there a more tactful way to correct him?

    Here are some suggestions:

Direct but Friendly: A simple email like, "Hi [colleague's name], thanks for introducing me! Just wanted to clarify that my role at the company is Attorney, not paralegal."
Humor with a Point: "Hey [colleague's name], appreciate the intro, but I think my legal skills go beyond paralegal work! Just letting you know for future reference."
No matter the approach, choose a tone that reflects your professional relationship with the colleague.
