Tips for Rebranding Your Logo Design - 1 views

  •
Logos make brands successful. Or successful brands have great logos. Logos have hidden meanings or just plain simple. Point is - every log is unique and represents the brand. And as such, it carries as much importance as the brand itself.

Customer Reviews Average Customer Review: 4.5 out of 5 stars based on 15 reviews Most Helpful Customer Reviews from Amazon.com 85 out of 85 people found the following review helpful: 5 out of 5 stars This is THE Android phone to get if you're on AT&T! June 29, 2010 Reviewer: D. Matheny (Austin, TX) - Well, my wife and I have been using our new Aria phones for about a week now. I switched from a Blackberry Bold and she was using a 1st generation iPhone (although hers didn't have any data plan). We also purchased one of the 3G MicroCells from AT&T at the same time - so our cell signal at home is now better than I thought would be possible. As far as our profiles go: I'm a tech addict - I work at home as a C/C++ programmer and tend to be an early adopter of anything tech related. My wife is kind of the opposite - she relies on me to keep the tech stuff going and tends to resist new technology since she knows it can often be more of a headache than it is worth:). Fortunately, this phone is working for both of us. The Android OS has been great - although there are some features in the next version (Froyo) that I wish were on this phone already. I spent several hours yesterday figuring out how to 'root' this phone and I did end up getting it done last night. My wife's went a lot faster since I already understood the process.

TiddlyWiki - a reusable non-linear personal web notebook - 0 views

  • Welcome to TiddlyWiki, a popular free MicroContent WikiWikiWeb created by JeremyRuston and a busy Community of independent developers. It's written in HTML, CSS and JavaScript to run on any modern browser without needing any ServerSide logic. It allows anyone to create personal SelfContained hypertext documents that can be posted to a WebServer, sent by email or kept on a USB thumb drive to make a WikiOnAStick. Because it doesn't need to be installed and configured it makes a great GuerillaWiki. This is revision 2.4.0 of TiddlyWiki (see recent changes), and is published under an OpenSourceLicense.

Peachpit: Designing for the Social Web - $32.00 - 0 views

  • No matter what type of web site or application you’re building, social interaction among the people who use it will be key to its success. They will talk about it, invite their friends, complain, sing its high praises, and dissect it in countless ways. With the right design strategy you can use this social interaction to get people signing up, coming back regularly, and bringing others into the fold. With tons of examples from real-world interfaces and a touch of the underlying social psychology theory, Joshua Porter shows you how to design your next great social web application.

Simple audio annotations in Google Earth at Digital Geography - 0 views

  • While exploring the amazing new Ancient Rome layer in Google Earth I thought it would be useful for kids to be able to add “audio-bites” by way of annotation. The recordings might, for example, take the form of imaginary discussions taking place in Rome. After a little research I discovered Vocaroo.com This great little site lets you record a snippet of audio and upload it to the web. The recording can be played through an embeddable Flash Player. What’s really cool is that the player code can be pasted into a Google Earth placemark. There’s no need to register to use Vocaroo; the whole process couldn’t be easier.

Amazon.com: Kindle: Amazon's New Wireless Reading Device: Kindle Store - 0 views

  • Unlike WiFi, you don't have to find a hotspot. Amazon pays for Kindle's wireless connectivity so you will never see a monthly wireless bill for shopping the Kindle Store.
  • I expected to be able to download ebooks from my local library (for free) and read them on my Kindle.

Great point! If I am going to put out this kind of money for a gadget that is seemingly only used to read books, then I want to be able to use it in a less proprietary manner . . . Add your thoughts on the Kindle on this page - remember though, this is the sell point for this gadget . . . now, head here: http://scobleizer.com/2007/11/25/dear-jeff-bezos-one-week-kindle-review/
