The Atavist will release a free version of its software, and people who sign up can begin building children’s books or travelogues or whatever else they fancy, some of which will become part of its online marketplace. Using Coursekit’s software, teachers can upload homework assignments, answer questions, grade work and facilitate discussions with their students. In addition, students can use the software to chat with one another, collaborate on projects and share relevant materials with their classmates
