Throughout this course, I seem to always visit this page for different topics. I find it to be written in everyday language, even when explaining Javascript. I've looked over the site, and it "works" for me to help understand the language.

Here's a very concise paragraph to give a quick introduction to the world of Nancy. it doesn't say too much about me, but I'm sure more will be revealed in time.

I am happy to see the 25 things :). However, you need to save the file as plain text. Microsoft Word is probably not the best place to edit HTML, but if you do, you need to make sure you save it as plain text, and not as HTML.

Another great beginner's intro to the world of CSS mainly because it provides just as many examples as it does explanations. In addition, it encourages you to try out the code as you go along rather than simply expect to learn by osmosis (which is pretty much impossible with this subject anyway).

This page is just a basic intro/course description for an HTML class taught at UC Berkeley. It's really just a few sentences, but it's one of those short on words/long on meaning pieces of text that I admire because it gets to the meat of what HTML is all about in a very intelligent way. What struck me, though, was the line that states: "... it's valuable to know HTML even if your day job involves working with a content management system... " I work with a CMS all day! As I've mentioned before, I work for CNN.com and mainly produce interactive features and such, yet I know shockingly little about them there Internets! This course will hopefully help me bridge that gap between the material I am comfortable with, and that which intimidates me.

This site is basically a brief introduction to me, Ellise. Nothing complex or fancy, just wanted to use some basic and tags as well as link in the site, and out of the site.

Yeah, not trying to go for the triple-points score is a good call :). Nice site.

This is my Intro that I created, I used: -TextPad for the HTML -NearlyFreeSpeech.NET for the hosting -Filezilla to upload my content So there you go, the site is basic, all text, but it;s my first one and at least now you know a bit about me.

Thought I would share with everyone a bit about myself. It was interesting creating a page without tags because I was limited to the layout running on and on without line breaks or margins on the page. I tend to design sites with organization and structure and this was totally out of the ordinary for me. Happy Reading.

This is a clear and simple introduction for newbies like me. I'm willing to learn from any source possible. So the more intros I get, the better.

I came across this site dealing with HTML through Google. Browsing through, I found it to be great, even for myself, a stone cold beginner to this stuff. It's pretty much a complete tutorial regarding HTML starting from the most basic parts all the way to the advanced material and know-how. In the page itself you will see [Previous] and [Next] buttons which walk you to the next level of the tutorial, down the left side of the page is each part of the tutorial. Hope this helps!
