Recently I read some similes between Linux and Windows. Today I performed a distributions upgrade from 6.10 Edgy Eft to 7.04 Feisty Fawn like that:
.) Open System -> Administration -> Update Manager
.) Click Upgrade
done!
Ok, I had to enter my root pw, too.

A few clicks, some minutes and 0 Euro and a got a new distribution with all my software I had on the computer working!
Now I wonder if there is a comparable methode to ubgrade form Windows XP to Windows Vista?
