Connected to your network on twitter or facebook and the like. Create boards with text, image and links in boxes. Looks interesting but not for formal education for more personal learning.
Welcome to Museum Box, This site provides the tools for you to build up an argument or description of an event, person or historical period by placing items in a virtual box. What items, for example, would you put in a box to describe your life; the life of a Victorian Servant or Roman soldier; or to show that slavery was wrong and unnecessary? You can display anything from a text file to a movie. You can also view and comment on the museum boxes submitted by others.
Pretty good - free but need sign up.
Best to have resources to upload i.e. sound or vidoe files but can use gallery images.
This is a really good tool, although it has a library of images etc it would be a lot better to upload your own. The cartooning tool is very easy to use. Film one is a bit more technical and need more time to work it out! Excellent though - audio, video, and 'cartoon' storytelling.
Need to create account - free but there is also a 'go premium' option.
this is a good tool I think - allows you to share presentations and comment on them ( either by speaking or typing). Need to explore more - some of it is US biased but otherwise usable and free. Need to register
