"Hot" school districts - 2 views

  I had the opportunity to visit with a Bettendorf teacher library/information specialist. They are in the process of making over their HS library--bookstore design. They are moving 1-1, but the impressive part is how they set up their professional development for their teachers first before handing out to students. I was totally impressed with their plan and will be keeping contact with her. There should be some pretty cool stuff coming from that school district in the near future.

  Yeah...I've talked to several 1to1 school district folks that gave the devices out to teachers at least one year before they rolled them out to students! Pretty solid strategy! Should be interesting to see where all this 1to1 stuff goes!!
