I love this blog! She offers lots of great research-based literacy strategies. She teaches in a secondary classroom, but I've been able to modify the activities to make them appropriate for the elementary level.

Deborah J. Stewart M.Ed. has a blog page that is so incredible that the NAEYC of Indianapolis invited her to speak to early childhood teachers around the state. Her daily blog page has great early childhood ideas for creative arts, simple songs and fingerplays, math, social skill building, early childhood literacey and so much more. I love this site and I follow her on twitter too.
