Great Websites for Kids (GWS) , the Association for Library Service to Children's (ALSC) online website directory, has been completely redesigned. The updated site boasts a fresh and colorful kid-friendly look and interactive social media enhancements. Clear, bright icons display subject categories and appear on every page, while eye-catching thumbnail images provide a visual preview of each great site represented. Special sections highlight Sites of the Week and Month, Most Popular pages and Top Rated selections. Prompts for each site offer "more selections like this." Visitors can actively connect with the site and further their online experience by rating sites; sharing their favorites on social media sites such as Facebook; and emailing recommendations to friends.

Nice list via common sense media

I copied the Fractionator game from the website link above.  it seems to be a relatively new website.  Not a lot of stuff on it but good games.  Also lists a multiplication game.  From Heather Johnson

I found this website that has multiple activities with fractions.  It includes the materials needed for the activities and instructions.  It lists extensions and assessment ideas.  It also has a listing of books about fractions.  It even contains links to other websites where students can play fraction games.  (And I only had trouble accessing one of the links.) I don't agree that all of these are great, but it's a nice list.  Some of them are time-wasters.

Great website that is very specific about content of various things, yet also gives helpful tips in many areas for educators, students, and families.

Kathy Schrock has an extensive guide to the best websites.  This particular page summarizes the sites she has recommended in the past. (It started more as daily, and is more like weekly now.) Her entire site is very organized, and has something for every discipline.
