Lisa Durff on 01 Jan 11Ssouth Korean students are both better behaved in the classroom AND less willing to collaborate in any fashion. As an American teacher used to using collaborative groups had much difficulty convincing students that anythig beyond individual effort was permissible. Their nation is at the pinnacle of industrial age education, while American education (at least the tchrs who went there with me) are well beyond it.
