The R-1 visa is meant for a foreign national, generally a religious worker who is visiting United States temporarily as part of an employment (part-time) offer as a minister or in any other religious vocation or occupation by a non-profit organization, religious organization authorized to use its group tax exemption by a group tax exemption holder or a non-profit organization affiliated with a religious denomination in the country.

This visa is for foreign nationals applying to stay in Australia as the guardian of an international student (generally under the age of 18) who is studying in Australia. Student Guardian visa holders cannot work whilst in Australia.

If you want to come to the UK to study at a school, college, or university, to pursue your higher studies or for a new study course you will need an acceptance from your education provider (CAS number - Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) and a Tier 4 Student Visa.
