This is a useful resource for beginners in Game Maker, showing all the different things the program is capable of. It's also good for people who aren't sure whether they want to buy it or not, because it describes the program very well and gives a review of it before the tutorial starts.

Long, long ago at a GDC far, far away, I introduced the idea that a useful way of looking at gameplay is as "a series of interesting decisions". This comment has since taken on a life and identity of its own and appears irregularly in theoretical discussions of game play and game design.

A series of educational videos about how to create various things in Project Spark, with a primary focus on the "kode" language that Project Spark uses. By watching these videos you can learn the basics of how to create your own games in Project Spark, as well as some advanced features. Student game created with Sploder using the 3d mission game creator. Fun multi-level game with increasing challenge and ample weapons and powerups. The game incorporates the use of puzzles to open locks. Nice job.

Thanks to Jacob for this site with links to 3d animation resources... An Introduction to 3D 3D models are created by manipulating polygon meshes and molding them into objects, characters and scenes. Even if you don't have formal art training that goes beyond the few classes you took in high school or college you can still do great work in 3D.

This is a good guide for new people to minecraft. This can be helpful to others who are not sure how to play, that teaches you the basics,and how to survive the first night. I believe that this guide would be great for our students also because it will encourage more people to play minecraft and see if they like it and enjoy it. Finally, this might eventually help people start to build their own things and adventures or mini games! I hope this helps new players!
