MinecraftEdu is the collaboration of a small team of educators and programmers from the United States and Finland. We are working with Mojang AB of Sweden, the creators of Minecraft, to make the game affordable and accessible to schools everywhere. I think this is a place where you can find ripped sprites or fan-made sprites from several games (I'm not sure which ones), but if you're looking for some anime-style sprites to incorporate, this is the place to go! :D The pixels themselves are great.
Here are links to some anime sprite sheets -- more specifically, sprites from animes such as Bleach and Naruto (LOL).
You could probably make a pretty cool fangame using these sprites, or just insert them as a NPC in your game or whatever.
Heya guys, I don't think many people have a server, but if you want to make one, in free time or for class, try this link. However, you will need to learn how to Port-Forward your server. Type in google, "port forward [router make & model]". That will help, and search for "plugins.bukkit.org" to find some nifty add-ons for your server. Good luck, and happy Server Building!
Cube 2 is a first person shooter/ map maker game. I have used it before and it is a really fun game to play bot matches and create complex intricate levels. definitely try it out it is a lot of fun
Although a majority of the sprites are based (or are from) animes, there are still a whole bunch of cool sprites that you can incorporate into your game here. They also have some cool backgrounds you can use!
