  This is an obvious one (it's the gamemaker website) but I used it and found it very helpful when I was trying to find a way to get a message with multiple lines to pop up. This just shows lines of code and what to use them for. Specifically, I used it for the popup messages in Gloop.

  Also an obvious one, (it's the gamemaker forum), I found this on my hunt to find out how to change backgrounds for the Rainy Day platform game. I love forums because multiple people can collaborate to fix and create things. This contains someone asking how to slowly change a background.
