RICHMOND, Va. - Del. Kaye Kory, D-Fairfax, accepted the American Association of University Professors' Michael S. Harris Award on Thursday for her "exemplary service in support of higher education." Two bills aimed at making college more affordable while addressing student debt passed through the Appropriations Committee's Higher Education Subcommittee and now go to the entire VA House of Delegates for consideration.
