Another look at TPACK, and I like his opinion or viewpoint that just giving technology to a classroom will not work, and the TPACK model points this out. Three sperate things need to converge to make the modern classroom the best possible environment for students, not just the single event of handing a teacher 30 IPads.

"While we often talk about the integration of technology into learning, this simple diagram clearly illustrates the complexity and consideration that is required to do so."

Stephen's article "Tpack model for teaching integration" really intrigued me due to its emphasis on the complexity of the model. It was nice seeing the author's spin on TPack and how he believes that many people have misconstrued using TPACK effectively as simply incorporating one or two technological tools repetitively in their instruction. When in fact, it is about effectively applying technology in classrooms to benefit or enhance learning- as oppose to merely being there to look like we are accommodating the 21st generation of learners. He mentions, "Project based learning" as a driving force for this model and how true implementation of this avenue is much more beneficial than a yearly "tech learning session." I think one of the greatest resistant forces is that teachers and administrators don't always understand TPACK in its truest essence. They often associate using technology as successfully mastering a single component: "technology" of the TPACK framework, when in all sincerity a successful TPACK framework is being able to creatively use technology to enhance learning/content.
