She took part in controversial obedience tests modelled on the infamous Milgram experiments conducted at Yale University in the early sixties. On the orders of a tutor, Dianne had to give what she thought were electric shocks to her fellow student. Even after finding out that there were no shocks, she still suffers to this day about taking part in the experiment."
