  Google Talk? What's this? Is Google getting back in on the Internet telephone craze? Yes they're! The search giant now offers a beta version down load of Google Talk at no-charge. http://www.google.com/talk/
  
  Google Talk allows users to IM or make calls over the Internet utilizing a PC, speakers and microphone, again; free. The new Google software could be saved by anyone with Windows 2000 platform or later.
  
  Obviously you are able to only call or IM other folks who have saved the Google Talk application. Both parties need to have a Gmail account to log onto the Google Talk messenger.
  
  Those that do not curently have a Gmail account could request an invitation via mobile-phone. https://www.google.com/accounts/SmsMailSignup1. People that don't have a cell-phone should have someone having an account deliver a Gmail request.
  
  Google has caused it to be pretty convenient to add individuals to the contacts list of the messenger. Invitations are sent immediately from the messenger or from the user's Gmail account. There's no limit for the variety of customers one can have on the contact number.
  
  With that said, I decided to give Google Talk a spin myself. The UI is simple to use and comprehend, with Internet calling, instant messaging, email, and obviously, Google search. You will find no ad's to clutter the Interface, which can be refreshing.
  
  The user control's again are fairly cut and dry, it's a bit plain looking, however; this in my opinion add's to it's functionality. Mountainbikes includes more about the reason for this enterprise. Other than a lack of ad's, the one thing new about that is the fact it is from Google.
  
  In general, Google Talk is just a pretty good messenger. If you have a distaste for banner ad's or pop up's every-time you start your messenger, 'H' Talk should be a welcome change of speed.
