  This article describes the inefficiency of the current GPS monitoring for sexual offenders. They are working on creating new monitoring technology that will include "persuasive technology". The hope is that with the new technology, it will be less invasive and therefore more "persuasive".

  This sounds really interesting but I wish I understood more what they meant by 'persuasive.' I tried to access the full paper, but couldnt.
