21st Century Skills Map - Project Management for Learning - 2 views

  •
As a set of life skills, project methods are learned starting at a very young age and continue throughout one's life. As a progression of learning skills, students begin applying project approaches to their learning in primary grades and continue through adulthood as lifelong learners. And as a series of developing career skills, students begin learning the professional aspects of project management in secondary school and continue their learning throughout their careers, with some choosing professional project management as a profession.

Meet Oppia, Google's New Open Source Project That Allows Anyone To Create An Interactiv... - 2 views

Google's new open source project essentially aims to take the headache or mystery out of the process by providing the framework by which anyone can quickly create these types of interactive learning experiences and add them to their site. But, beyond that, Oppia also has potentially interesting implications for teachers, and not necessarily in a way that reduces their concern of one day being replaced by a robotic or holographic, AI version of themselves.

Apple's Everyone Can Create series a phenomenal resource that I have utilized in the past. If your school is 1:1 with iPads, you have to check these out! The only thing you need is your Apple ID. The books lead you through a series of lessons/activities where you create a creative project and also learn tips and tricks (or a basic how-to) of the different Apple Create Apps. I have also utilized this with students grades 4-5. They were able to follow the directions and complete the activities independently. This is one of my favorite Apple resources!
