This is a 6 week massive open online course (MOOC) to introduce forensic science to the general public based around an adaptation of a real murder case. Each week, core material was provided related to the case to be solved. The participants followed a journey from the crime scene to the court room culminating in a live vote to the guilt or innocence of the suspect.
I think this could be used in a science class, but I also think it would be fun as an after school club or activity.
Take on the mission to disarm the world of nuclear weapons! You have eight "Peace Doves" to help you, each able to disarm one of the eight countries possessing nuclear weapons.
I can see this being used in a history class or possibly a global learning class that talks about world peace.
