We have parents who want to run book clubs during lunch hours. Many times they are not organized and there is not much reading that takes place. This would provide a great overview for the book clubs, provide it with structure, and also give some tasks to be completed during the reading.
Fourth grade does a wax museum each year. This would be a great early lesson on how to research. Students work together in groups to choose 6-10 facts to add to a timeline. The lesson could be used to teach students about the important information. What information should be shared during the wax museum?
