I've really enjoyed this video. I wouldn't say we need an educational revolution in the public schools, but I do agree that educational reform isn't completely efficient in preparing the ever-changing generations of learners. The teaching that I do in the classroom (9-12) is specific to the expectations that Professors have on students entering research studies in mathematics. Moreover, I wouldn't say I'm changing the system through my teaching by integrating technology, I would say that I'm improving the efficiency of my teaching to deliver content. I use Edmodo in my math classroom, even though online learning systems lend themselves to social sciences. Edmodo has served as a great way to respond to students' question in an explicit form, which then helps them understanding how to write out their math processes. I'm trying to transition to the other web 2.0 tools, but it's taking time and planning to be able to incorporate them. Great posting, thank you for providing additional tools.
