Ghiche is this week's Up & Comer uPlaya artist! Not only can this Chicago native rap with the best of them but he also writes and produces his own work! Dropping beats at the young age of 14, Ghiche got his start in the entertainment industry performing at parties and events as well as making appearances in local Black History shows. More recently, he has gone on to showcase his talent booking college tours and taking on gigs at nightclubs and conventions throughout the Midwest. With a 'go-getter' personality and high potential, the young entrepreneur has already connected with and opened for big name artists like 50 cent, Soulja Boy, and P.diddy. Ghiche will be meeting with an A&R rep from The Deal Makers in Chicago this weekend courtesy of uPlaya for the chance to show off his 'superstar hood status' and take his career to the next level!

Born and raised in North GA, this handsome singer/ songwriter decided to jumpstart his music career by moving to Athens, GA- the birthplace for both modern alternative rock and New Wave Music. Picking up local gigs throughout the college city helped him to catch the eye of country rocker Zac from the Zac Brown Band and land the opening act for the alternative country group most nights at the famed GA Theatre. Following in the footsteps of major music groups and artists to come out of Athens like R.E.M, Widespread Panic and the B-52's, to name a few, Eric has quickly built up a wide ranging fan base from screaming college girls to old school rockers.
