This site is awesome at keeping teachers updated on current policies, bills, and acts that are being propossed and acted upon. It basically tells you everything you need to know about what is going on in the news in an educational sense in the U.S.
This video is really cool! And there are many more like it on youtube. Essentially the videos are of pictures of poets with animated mouths. They move corresponding to the words on an audio track of the poem, so it looks like they are speaking the poetry outloud. It's a good way to listen to a poem or reading your version while listening to the audio. Perhaps the listener can also see how others would approach reading and vocalizing the poem.
This is a website that has tons of blogs from teachers all across the country. The website tries to connect teachers and share educational ideas, concepts, and meaningful topics.
This website is pretty useful. It is similar to Spark Notes in some regards, but it is great for broad ideas and concepts that may seem confusing, like those discussed in English, such as different literary genres and what they encompass. The site allows for the reader/student to get an easy and strong foot hold in the concept they are exploring.
