I thought this twitter site was really useful...in 140 characters or less, it gives people updates on the top news of education in the U.S..They also give a lot of great links to other websites as well in reference to the topics that they talk about.

This blog gives educators 50 different ideas on using Twitter in the classroom. I thought it was extremely interesting, seeing as how students are more and more on twitter, they might be able to relate to an assignment better this way.

This website is absolutely AMAZING in terms of technology resources for future teachers. They range from the simple to the most complex ways of incorporating technology into everyday lesson plans, as well as giving you categories to choose what types of technology you would like.

This is an amazing site to keep teachers updated on not only what's happening in Illinois in terms of education, but in the entire nation as well!
