I found this list of teaching blogs that can be very useful. It even has a description of each one so you can quickly find the blog that will best fit you.

I found this clip of Mercutio's death scene from the 1996 Romeo and Juliet. I think it would be useful for the students to see what they are reading be preformed in a way they could relate to more. This clip can also be used in a discussion of whether this play is a tragedy or a comedy.

This clip from the Simpsons is a great resource to use when reading Poe's The Raven. It reads to poem out loud and acts it out in an entertaining way that i think high school students would get a kick out of! It would also help students understand the poem better and lead into a discussion about it.

This is a site similar to sparknotes. It has summaries, analysis, character lists, and quizzes. What I liked about this site is the Why Should I Care section they have for every book that describes why they are studying this book in a witty way. If used as a tool and not a substitution for reading the book i think it is a great asset for teachers and students. 

This is a tool to help students better understand Paradise Lost. It follows the idea that poetry is meant to be read out loud as well as read. I think this will be a great asset to students!

Classroom201X is a blog that has amazing resources for smartboards. So often smart boards go to waste because teachers don't know how to use them or don't know what to use them for. This blog is a great resource.
