It talks about ideas of how the chiefs allowed missionaries to spread their religion because they also taught them about technology. It talks about how there was resistance from the Bantu people and their chiefs but eventually, they were successful in spreading their word as of now the statics of Christian people are very high. It also explores the ideas of baptism, how they introduced it, and how it was received. because the state of South Africa was very bad between the chiefs, the Zulus needed to form alliances and they were going to benefit from the white people who were missionaries guns, and other resources to be able to fight.
