I chose this site as my Lesson Plan/Teaching Sharing. This site has many options. You get to choose what country you want, the grade you desire, the subject, and if you want it in English or Spanish. I know most people would probably not care about the different languages or countries it displays. But, this is an imporant tool to have. If you have a classroom full of ESL's, then this site would come in handy.

This is a Physical Education/Health site. I chose this site along with the last P.E. site because they might be bare and not very attractive. I found this site very helpful by having a video to explain the game, 4 goal soccer. Along with the video, this site gives great explanation for how to teach the class and what to have the students warm up with. Lastly, this site gives some great games to be played with the 1st-5th graders and explains each game, which is always helpful.

This is a Physical Education/Health site. I chose this site for the reason being, that it has some important information regarding children's health and well being. It says that P.E. helps develop motor skills, body awareness, social interation, and cognitive development. Although this site is a little bare in details. It does give some important facts about health and it does have 4 games designed to be played in P.E. class.

This is a Science site. I chose this because of the many ways you could approach your lesson plan on Science. This doesn't have any games for the students to play on here, but it does have activities to go along with the teachers instruction about any of the 8 topics listed here. If you were doing a lesson on snow. Click on the link that says, Let It Snow and it is for the 5th-10th grade level. Whats cool about the snow link is it gives pictures of how devastating snow storms can be for the streets and cars driving on them.

American Chemical Society - 0 views

This is a Science site. The game demonstrates all the chemical elements on the right side. If you need help, then there is a hint button on the left side to guide through the steps to finding the element. The goal of the game is to find the element in the house and you have three choices to get it right. This game is very helpful when teaching a lesson in science on all the elements in the table. There is a 3 minute time limit though.

PE Central is a web site that provides information about developmentatally appropriate physical education practices and programs. I have used this site for at least 80% of all my lesson plans and warm up activities. This site is fantastic because it breaks it down per grade and the skill and or unit.

Math Games at MathPlayground.com - 0 views

Math: I chose this website because I think it would a great tool to use as a reward for students. They can play online games while still working on their math skills. They can be rewarded with computer time and playing games, but still get something educational out of it. These games work on geometry skills, basic addition/subtraction, angles, fractions, etc. Students can incorporate technology into their learning without even realizing they are learning! They will just think they are playing fun games while actually they are fine tuning their mathematic skills.

Math: I think will be an amazingly helpful resource I use in my future classroom. It provides sample math problems which are grade appropriate. All you have to do is click on the grade level you are teaching and it gives you a list of different math concepts that level should be focusing on. For example, when you click on 4th grade it gives you place values, coordinate graphs, adding and subtracting fractions, and so on. I think this is a great website for any teacher creating math lesson plans.

This is a great resource for math teachers, it can be used for several years because the levels vary from Pre-K up to precalculus. It also has a tab with the common core standards with activites that fit those.

This site is good for math students that need extra help. This site has many different grade levels and different topics for that level and subtopics so it can help narrow down what you really need help on.

Language Arts: I think this website would be very helpful in my future classroom- especially if my school district uses McGraw-Hill books. This website contains both teacher resources along with student activities to be used in the classroom. There are worksheets and games designed specifically for the different aspects of language arts. Areas such as grammar, writing, prepositions, nouns, punctuations, etc are all included and provide easy to follow steps to help improve student learning.

Language Arts: I chose this website because I think it is very easy to follow and offers lesson ideas for language arts grades preschool through high school. You can click on the grade you want and it will provide and extensive list of lesson plan ideas for that grade. The standard number is provided as a way to search through lessons quicker. I think that is a great idea. If a teacher knows the standard they want to cover but aren't sure what to teach, this website would be very helpful.

Lesson Plans: I really like this website. It allows you to create a free account to make units/lesson plans for your class. There are different templates to choose from as well as tips to help you create your unit/lesson. All documents are saved on your account so you do not have to worry about losing them or trying to keep a hard copy on file. I think this is a great website for new teachers to use.

This website is good for a quick brush up on a math topic. It is split up according to grade and topic. I would use this website as a tool for myself. It offers new ways to think about math, teach the topic, and gives different ways to teach the subject matter.

Language Arts- This website is great! it can be used for any grade level. This website has a question in the middle and the student has to match a word that has the same meaning as the word that is given. The website will pronounce the word given. This can be used for ELL students of for students that are struggling with words and their meanings. Also for every question answered right 10 grains of rice are donated to World Food Program to help stop world hunger.

Social Studies Games - 0 views

This is a Social Studies site. I chose this site because of its lesson on Geography that so many students including myself lack. I was tested on the 50 states in high school, but thats it. Many Americans could most likely not find Florida or California if you gave them a map. Geography is an important education tool that seems to be losing its ground in the education system today.
