I chose this site because of the number of things it introduces you to and shows you how to do. You could use it in a million ways. You could find games, lessons, how to make a class website, and a lot of other things that are only limited by your imaginaion and by your busy schedule.

This website has some really useful links to other websites. It concentrates on tech in the classroom and so would be a good place to look for new ideas

This website is a good resource for teachers to connect with other teachers to discuss popular topics in the world of teaching. I would read this just to get different angles on current education topics.

I have used this site before, as have many of us have. Weebly is a great way for teachers to inform students and parents about their classroom. They can put a list of assignments, important dates, as well as a list of rules, consequences, and resources for students and parents to use. They can include links as well as a place where parents can connect and ask questions.

This site provides a number of safe websites that students and teachers can use to blog and/or discuss classroom assignments. This is a great way for students to ask teacher questions without having to wait till the next day. (If the teacher checks it regularly)

This article explains a PLN and everything that is involved with it. I think this is a great article that answers many questions that educators may have about PLN's.

This is a place where teachers can find education-related blogs. Teachers share ideas, websites, stories, and other information. I chose this because I have a Tumblr and have used it for my benefit in the classroom.

Weebly is a web 2.0 tool which can be used to make web pages which can aid student learning and can be used for parents at home. A great tool for educaiton.

This website also gives a 100 different tools that you can use in your classroom. It it is a very good website that can help you with branching out in your classroom.

I do not have a twitter account but this website has different blogs and hashtags that have to do with education.

Ning costs, but I can see how it would be very useful to teachers. It has a ton of community features that promote communication and the sharing of information. Some of these features include forums, photo/video/doc sharing, broadcast capabilities, email, and more. It has publishing tools, as well. These publishing tools include blogs, websites, and an unlimited access to custom HTML pages. It allows member sign in through a number of social media websites and also integrates YouTube videos on social channel pages.

I like this website because it features lots of articles and pieces all related to current affairs and politics. It would be a great resource for exposing middle schoolers and high school students to some cutting edge social studies issues. I would use these articles as discussion starters in my class.

I think it can be somewhat difficult to relate social studies topics to current events, but it's something that will be important in order to make s.s topics more relatable. This site has so many current and relevant topics. I could use this site to help connect content or even just explore for myself to stay current on news.

This site provides a couple different PLN's for teachers to use. Each site shared on this website has a description of what each site does.This is also a great way for teachers to seek expert advice and to also share their ideas and gain new ones.

Professional development and networking are vital in any field, and that's especially true for educators. This website helps educators to come up with fresh ideas for lesson plans and classroom activities. It also talks about integrating technology into lessons and how to meet state standards.

Language Arts: I chose this resource because it gave lots of ideas for lessons the teacher could use for language arts throughout the day. I liked it because each lesson indicated what grade level the lesson was created for.

This site shows how to connect physical activities to a subject. In the same way, I can connect them to math.

Social Studies - I chose this source because it is very helpful for teachers and will be in the future for me, it has many strategies and lesson plan ideas.

Classroom management - This source provides teachers with a bunch of resources when it comes to classroom management and it has lots of ideas that would be very useful for all teachers
