I thought this site was cool because it gives you many different language arts related activities/games you can use in your classroom. I also like that there is a section for teaching English as a second language. Having games available for English and Spanish speakers from the same site makes this site seem convenient

This website is a good resource for teachers to connect with other teachers to discuss popular topics in the world of teaching. I would read this just to get different angles on current education topics.

This website is good for a quick brush up on a math topic. It is split up according to grade and topic. I would use this website as a tool for myself. It offers new ways to think about math, teach the topic, and gives different ways to teach the subject matter.

this is a good science education website that will really help me in the science teaching. I like magic school bus videos too. and this games helps to understand the concepts better.

Physical Education (2): This website contains teaching materials to use in the classroom as well as valuable resources for teachers on a variety of topics in order to research new trends, etc. There are journal articles, lesson plans, worksheets to use with students, etc. This website is geared towards teachers and administrators. As a teacher, this would be a great place to find access to new and relevant information for the classroom.

iCivics is a web-based education project designed to teach students civics and inspire them to be active participants in our democracy. I would use this website to generate different lesson plans to keep the class interesting.

I chose this website, because it has all of the essential parts that I would need if I were to teach a PE class. It lists all the materials, training, and support that I would need for the lesson. With education changing dramatically I might have to teach PE, so this would be beneficial to have.

This website is a resource for getting lesson ideas and cards for phonics instruction. It has printable worksheets and cards. I will use this when I teach phonics to my students.

This is a website that can be used for language arts. It is an extension of the McGraw Hill basal readers. It suggests activities that go along with the stories the children will read in class. I will use this website if I teach out of a McGraw Hill book.

I chose this as a website of my choice. This website gives ideas for teaching a student that english is their second language. It has printable worksheets and flashcards that will be helpful in the classroom. I will use this website if I have a student that does not speak English.

This is a good website to use in a science class. This website has facts abouts the solar system. It has a link to individual pages for each of the planets that includes facts and pictures. I will use this website in my classroom when I teach a unit on planets.

This would be a good website to use in science when learning about safari animals. This is a website of the San Diego zoo where children can learn facts about the animals in the zoo. It also has live cameras so the students can watch the panadas, polar bears, elephants, and apes live in Iowa! I will use this if I teach a unit on safari animals.

This a Great tool for teachers to create educational posters with text and pictures. You can also add audio, videos, and drawings. teachers and students can log on for a class or create an account. This would be great for projects for a certain subject, or just teaching a subject. you create a glog which is a multimedia online poster.

This website has fun already made powerpoint game templates. You could download the templates and adapt them to the unit you are teaching. This could be used as a fun review game. There are Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, and Twenty Question game templates.

The content can be taught in the classroom or outside in an outdoor play area. Although this section is written for classroom teachers it is also appropriate for physical education teachers who wish to teach integrated content as well.

This website seems to have every language arts skills practice available, from reading a passage with a quiz, to identifying parts of a quiz. It also has a ton of printable resources. I am interested in teaching 4th grade so I would use the extensive information for 4th grade language arts since it's also common core aligned.
