This site allows students to think critically through a fun activity. Though this is geared for science, I can adapt it to a subject or topic I am teaching.

This website has different websites for teachers to use in the classroom to help teach science to students with charts, pictures, and so many others. How I would use this in the classroom is a can use any of the websites to show the students what they are learning about with pictures and charts.

This sites layout was very easy follow. This site also has many different things for students to do. This site has Science movies and experiments for student to do. I can use this website in my future class because it has crafts, tricks, and rhymes for students to do and learn so they can understand the material.

This site has information on many different science topics. Anything from fungus to the weather. Since this site has such a wide variety of subjects, this site would be used for many different lessons in a classroom. 

This website is great for an "extra." This is very interesting, It shows the science of certain sports. Maybe students could read up on one of them and share with the rest of the class what it talks about. The students are learning about sports while incorporating science. Amber Koth

This website is great for science. You can watch videos about what ever topic you are teaching your students. A lot of the shows on this website are very educational and will keep the students interest the whole time.

I like discovery channel because they cover many topics and they have many video clips that could be used with science lessons. This website also has news about science.

Science for kids really enhances awareness on upkeep for a better environment. It's a great way to get students in the habit of caring for the earth.

Have fun learning online with these cool science games. It's free and easy to use so just scroll down the page, find a game you like the look of and give it a go! I love this and as a teacher you could use this site to reinforce what you went over in class. This can be done in class if there is free time or this site can be given to the parents to put on their home computer, if possible.

I would use this site to do experiments that I may not have the utilities to actually do in real life. I chose this site because the experiments do look fun and are interactive.

This website is full of information and activities for students to do. There are other subjects beside science too, but the activities for science are very fun and interesting . I picked this site, because if you don't have money to but materials, you can act out the experiment from the simulation on the website. I would use this in my classroom as a whole group lesson to give them an example of what to do in a lab.

I absolutely love Bill Nye. Without Bill Nye, far less students would think science is interesting. Bill Nye always broke things down in a fun yet still meaningful way for students to understand. His site has science videos that cover a huge variety of topics. It also has educational resource for teachers to use. The educational tab comes with demos, episodes, printable worksheets, and more.

Science - I liked this site because it provided you with science games for students and for teachers and administrators which is very useful in the classroom

I chose this resource because it gives multiple teaching strategies that you can implement. I would use these strategies to help with vocabulary teaching, literacy help, and prior knowledge strategies for all subject areas.

I chose this website because it is full of videos, blogs, and articles about science going on all over the world. I would use the videos and articles for lessons.

I chose this site because it is helpful in explaining any subject to a student. I would use this as a site for students to visit at home to prepare for class. Khan Academy gives well presented work throughs of many math and science problems, as well as other subjects.

I chose this site because I hardly see any educational science games. This website is meant for elementary and middle school students. I would use this resource as a wrap up in science units.

Most sites are from education institutions, non-profit organizations or sponsored by grants, they are free to play.

I chose this website because it offered free tools to teach science topics. I would use this in my classroom, by incorporating some of the ideas, like using charts, vocab sites, and other tools to teach topics like Hurricanes, weather change etc...

This website is full lessons for grades K-5 that include topics like water cycle, states of matter, weather, and the butterfly life cycle. I like the weather activity where you act out different weather characteristics.
