This website is full of social studies activies. I could use this for special occassion activities, such as easter, earth day, and Cinco de Mayo.This site has games as well as possible homework activities.

This is a great website that offers interactive language arts games for students. I could use this as warm up activities or even as review.This could also be used as an option for students when they are completed with their assigned work.

This site is also very easy to navigate around. This website also has categories that students could use and learn things from, such as math, alphabet, and memory games. I could use this site in my future classroom because students of any age could use it to work on many different subjects. I could have students work on their games during centers as well.

I chose this site because it has a wide variety of topics and different kinds of sites. I would use this more as a fun or laid back kind of activity (like if you need to use up a day inbetween units or right before a holiday break). The kids could find a game or site that interested them and just crusie around. Or, to make it a little more involved, they could find 15-20 facts that they find interesting that they never knew before.

This websire is a great way to get student involved and excited about science! it is motly for older students. there are links to to an "electronic zoo" which then has a bunch of links to lessons on alot of animals in the animla kingdom made by teahers and students to be interactive and interdisciplinary. There is also a website link that would be perfect for students who are truely interested in science and teaches them about how math is integrated in science. There are also links to games that kids can classify critteres and a dust explorations.

This website has many different games in all subjects. Would be good for all subjects and is a very general website.

Apples for teachers is more then just a website it helps keep the teacher informed on all the new resources available for their students. This website is for teacher that teaches all grade levels in elementary. This site has fun activities do to with their students. It also haves new articles related to education, stories and research available to them by this site.

I chose this site because of the unique topics they have. Things like Groundhogs Day, and Chinese New Years, which may fit perfectly into your lesson, but, may be hard to find material on. This site is also neat because it has games you can have the students play, or it has things like coloring pages that you can print out (which may work better if you don't have access to enough computers for all your students to play on at once).

I think the title of this site is fun and easy for children to remember. This site is another resource that could be used during free time/end of the day that is fun yet educational

Interactive learning Sites for the Classroom. This site gives you games and resources for K-5 education. It is very interactive and will help for learning concepts. The games are fun and offeres a wide variety of subjects. I would high recommend this to teachers to show to students so they can practice while having fun.

Exploring nutrition is a hard concept for young kids to understand. However, this website can really help. Students will be able to learn through exploration of the different games which foods are considered "good and bad." They can sort them into the different food groups and learn about the food pyramid.

I would use this in my classroom for students who struggle to find good artifacts for their projects. It is important to have reliable resources.

This site is great for when learning about presidents, inventors, women in history, and Ben Franklin. These games test the students on what they know and are interactive. Amber Koth

I chose this website because it has many fun games and activites that can be used for Language Arts. It would be a great brain break from reading but still teach the students comprehesion.

This is a great site for LA classrooms. There is many different LA topics that can be explored as some of them are games or just more practice the students can do.

This site has math games for grades 1-7. It offers many different types of math problems. These games would be fun to do as a class. Working as a class would help all the kids review.

Another reading site that allows your students to play different games to improve their reading. It has grade levels from pre k all the way up to fifth grade

These games are more simplistic, yet fun. I would use this as a classroom tool to get lower-level elementary-aged students thinking.

This site has lots of options for geography gaming. Looks like a good asset for social studies teachers.

This quiz game lets students learn about what tobacco and drugs can do to their body. I chose it because it is an interactive game and it shares lots of knowledge.

For language arts, there are tons of games! The subjects range from writer's block, to spelling, to a fun hangman game. Some games are designed for certain grade levels, but all ages can still have fun playing and exercising their skills.

Sheppard Software offers all subjects games and can be played by students K-12. Some games put up a challenge but are still quite effective.

I chose this website, because it is a good resource for students and teachers. All of the games are free, so even if students cant afford games, or teachers dont have a large budget, they can play! I will use these games in my classroom as an award.
