This is a site that teachers can collaborate with each other on lesson plans and activities. This is a great way to communicate and get ideas from other teachers about what they are doing in their classroom.
This site provides an accessible tool for interactive projects. I chose this tool because its accessibility and its uses, which includes sharing files, folders, and Google Docs. Teachers can use this with fellow teachers to collaborate ideas, or if there's a group project, this would serve as a good interactive tool amongst students, too.
This could be a great site I could use for presenatations with my peers. You can create a presentation and have peers edit them and you can upload it from anywhere. It is also an organizer
I like this site because it tells why it is important to use the technology in the classroom. This page also shows what other people think about a site wither its good or bad. I can use the information on this site to find ideas for my classroom. I can also use this site to talk to other teachers about what works in a classroom and what doesnt.
This is a great site for those interested in web 2.0. This gives you groups, events, and forums to help. Its a free site and is a good way to stay up to date on alot of new things in education. I like the forum because it gives alot of personal experiences to help new teachers.
Website which is designed for those interested in sharing ideas and resources about using Web 2.0 and new media in education. And allows individuals to collaborate with other educators
This is a cool tool for students to create comics with and educational emphasis. the student can go on and practice their skills in any subject. They can learn to collaborate with others and learn how to tell a story. I think this is a good tool to help stop distractions from the digital world. Also, teachers can add students and oversee what they do.
Collaborative tools: Crocodoc converts Microsoft Office and PDF documents to HTML5 so users can view them right in their web app. I think this would be great for teachers to share their documents with parents. Parents would be able to see exactly what their students are working on and can then use that to give them extra help at home.
This site is a great site for teachers to access because they can gather teaching resources, share and collaborate online with other teachers, and they can look at the common core standards. This will come in use when people are starting out and just in general. It is always great to get another opinion of what other teachers are thinking and doing.
This is a website that I actually use regularly, and is a collaboration website for teachers to use so they may find different instructional strategies from all around the nation.
This is a great website for teachers to communicate with one another. You are able to look at the common core standards. There is also a resource where you can look at lesson plans for any grade. I think this website is something that teachers should really take advantage of because there are a lot of things they can learn just from other teachers.
This website is very helpful. It provides lessons and activity ideas for all types of subjects and grade levels. I would use this to help plan for activities or ideas for what I want to cover for a specific unit. I can see how it would be helpful now, while still in school for assignments.
This allows teachers to drop files in an online folder and access it from multiple computers. Collaborative folders can be created to share with partner teachers.
Drop box seems very handy and is an easy way to store, sync, and, share files online. For an older class this would be beneficial. Now adays assignments are submitted online a lot more and this would be very easy for both the teacher and the student to see their files they have uploaded and both can edit and work on them. It would be helpful for the teacher to write notes on an assinment and the student could go in and read what the teacher has to say.
This website also gives a 100 different tools that you can use in your classroom. It it is a very good website that can help you with branching out in your classroom.
This website is like twitter, but instead of having students enter with an email address, they enter with a school code. I think this is a great idea because it can be used to start understanding digital citizenship as they communicate with other students and teachers. I think there could be other uses too- like to keep in touch with students about important information.
This is a free site that allows private meetings. Kind of like a coatroom without the distraction of online media. It is a great suggestions for students to collaborate on group projects if they cannot meet in person.
I chose this site because it allows a teacher to post a video or share lesson ideas.
I would use this site to collaborate with other teachers across the country and share ideas.
I chose this tool because I first heard about it at Eisenhower and how beneficial it is when you are a teacher. You are able to store lesson plans in this website and share them with fellow teachers. It helps keep you organized and makes it easy to pick the curriculum that you use. I would use this to help store my lessons in and to look back and change if need be.
