In this morning's podcast class, there was a question about creating a web environment that would be open to select people - both in the university and outside - and host podcasts, video etc. (Sakai only allows university folks)
I have something like that on PB Wiki. You can create an "Invite Key" on the site, and just give it to the group you want to get in. Those people can create their own pages with the same invite key, and then link to the main page. It can be glitchy - so save often!
Here's one to my basic journalism class -- if you scroll ALL the way down to the bottom, there's a section for their Extra Credit Podcasts. And a link to a separate page where I put Podcast examples.
Here's two I created for the Journalism Internship program. The two other professors have the Invite key so they can make changes as needed. They are works in progress.
