Our current events project pertains to coral reef
I promise I'll try and make this poem brief
Coral reefs are made from calcium carbonate under water
Corals are colonies of tiny animals, so small you can't slaughter
They are nicknamed the rainforest of the sea
I must continue with this poem or I won't graduate and get my degree
They provide a home for twenty five percent of the marine species
In 1842 Charles Darwin set out for his theory of atoll reefs
Coral Reefs reproduce both sexually and asexually
So that means the significant other can be an absentee
Darwin described tropical reefs as oases in the dessert of an ocean
Isn't this more exciting than Isaac Newton's laws of motion?
Now I'm going to let Michael, Max and Connor speak
