    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Evie Hone (1894 - 1955) was a Dublin born Irish painter and stained glass artist. She was related to Nathaniel Hone and Nathaniel Hone the Younger. Her most important works are probably the East Window for the Chapel at Eton College, Windsor (1949-1952) and My Four Green Fields, now located in Government Buildings.

    Evie Hone was born on 22nd April 1894 in Clonskeagh, Dublin. Her father was a director of the Bank of Ireland. At age 11 she contracted Polio which left her with a severe disability for the rest of her life. Determined to study art, despite this, she began attending classes in London under Byam Shaw.
