At the nonprofit where I work, we use Twitter to share links to pertinent articles, reports, and other kinds of information that is of interest to our constituencies. I'm looking for a Twitter app that will automatically grab the title or header of the resource that we're sharing from the originating webpage and included in the tweet that we send out. Can anyone help me with this?

Not sure what device/platform you are working in (laptop, ipad, android, etc), but I use my ping.fm account in various ways and I believe it does what you are asking. Either through the AddThis addon in Firefox or Android, or within the share button in Feedly (my chosen laptop google reader client).

It grabs the page title and creates a shortened link automatically, then you get the opportunity to edit before posting. It feeds virtually every social platform available.

Good luck and let me know if I can help further!
