Enter Plurk; it's another Twitter clone which takes the Twitter concept and puts it on a timeline. The service has an odd, quirky feel to it; it's much more visual than Twitter, and it's fun to use. It uses colors to emphasize your 'moods', and it introduces the concept of karma, which should be familiar to Reddit users; the more you use the service, the more karma you get. In this case, karma even lets you unlock certain features, which almost feels like a mini game (if you like very boring mini games). Finally, just like Pownce, Plurk lets you divide your friends into "cliques", which is just a fancy word for groups.

For companies that choose to use Overheard, the service will scour the public Twitter stream using Summize to find when that company's name is mentioned. These tweets (Twitter messages) will then be piped into the Get Satisfaction support network. Here they can be used just as if the question were asked or the comment made on the site itself. Others can respond to these messages, and Overheard will alert the user on Twitter that their question is being answered on Get Satisfaction.

When choosing a map - especially a social network map - which do you prefer - pretty or useful? In an ideal world I would take pretty useful, but forced to choose between the two I'll take useful. DestroyTwitter is a compact though robust Twitter application built to run on Mac, Windows, and Linux using Adobe AIR. It consists of a series of canvases that constantly update to keep tweets up-to-date using notifications that appear when a new tweet arrives. DestroyTwitter uses a minimal amount of memory compared to its AIR-based alternatives without sacrificing functionality and performance. As a result, it can easily run in the background as an automated process.

Since the launch of the captions features for YouTube videos in last august, YouTube allows user add captions to one of your videos by uploading a closed caption file using the "Captions and Subtitles" menu on the editing page. This feature is used for people using other languages and even who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Very useful advice - hope all Twitterers pay attention. Twitter is going to become less and less useful if people don't start using some common sense and stop abusing the service.

Twitter been widely used micro blogging services for instant sharing with friends and followers. Since Twiter is updated instantly users can easily share information such as links, images, video and now you can share files instantly with all your friends on Twitter. FileTwt is a simple file sharing service on Twitter. Lot of us use Rapidshare for file sharing, but now FileTwt let Twitter user to share files up to 20MB maximum instantly. At present all files are hosted on Rapidshare, but FileTwt will soon start hosting the uploaded files themselves in a few days!

If you use feedburner, there is a twit this link you can add to your feedflare to put a link at the bottom of your blog to allow people to twitter it directly.
