Is seeing others as people and not objects a burden? In others words, are you worried that in order to stay out of the box, you have to do everything that pops into your head to do for others? Does that seem overwhelming?
I like the example they use in Leadership & Self Deception to help us with this issue. They are talking about driving a car and seeing the other drivers as people - does that create an overwhelming burden? "So, in this case, being out of the box and seeing others as people doesn't mean that I'm suddenly bombarded with burdensome obligations. It simply means that I'm seeing and appreciating others as people while I'm driving, or shopping, or doing whatever it is I'm doing."
Let's have a conversation about that.
