This fact sheet on resolving conflict is a great example of ch. 5.  Points out how and when it tends to arise. It also includes the 5 most dominant styles people use to deal with conflict. If you feel as if you are at a dead end with your group member(s) there is a conflict worksheet to take you step by step through fixing your issue.

Rhetoric Exigence is my favorite of the four links for chapter 2 because it explains the rhetoric communication process as cause and effect. It states if a group is preparing for a project and one group member does not show, it will not be forgotten, a reaction will happen. The group member will be contacted and the situation will have to be resolved.

Hi Norma, This is the website for me! You are correct that workplace problems will arise as long as humans work. It is not always easy knowing what the proper way is to resolve problems. If we handle them incorrectly, they lead to even bigger problems yikes. So I read through this entire website and I learned a lot from it.
