I'm not sure exactly in what context these are used - my guess is that these were created for federal agencies to utilize to teach languages. Whatever the case, these are pretty straight forward; you have to use the text in reference to the dialogues so that you understand what is being said, but it is a good way to hear the language being spoken.

This is a fun way to learn colloquial words and phrases. It may not always be the most reliable or correct source but it looks to be pretty okay. It's definitely gratifying when you get it right because the little stick figure guy is so cute!
