    Chopta , the mini Switzerland of Uttarakhnad and the whole of North India is located at located at an altitude of 2900 meters. This sparsely populated is the starting point of Chaukhamba trek which is tucked away at 4000mts above sea level. From here you can get magnificent view of white layer of snow covered mountain peaks Nanda Devi and Trishul. This tiny little hill station is rich in varied flora and fauna and this little holiday destination is bounded by dense forest of pine, deodar and rhododendrons.
